Works fine

stars-4.0 Sanyo SV-M305U Rechargeable Pocket Shaver with Dual Voltage 110/220V (MADE IN JAPAN) by J. Lane 2009-09-28, 0 people found this review helpful
I bought the Sanyo for a trip to Europe, because my usual electric shaver wouldn't work on 240 volts.

Overall the Sanyo worked well. It is compact and doesn't take up much room in your luggage, and when it's in the case provided with the foil protector in place, it should suffer no damage even with fairly severe handling of the luggage.

It shaves more slowly than my usual shaver and gives fewer shaves per charge. I got four shaves per charge maximum with the Sanyo, wheras I get five or six with my usual. It also doesn't shave quite as closely, but it's acceptable.

Charging takes about eight hours if you run the batteries out, so you have to remember to charge it, or you may end up with only half a shave. I didn't test to see how long it needs to be charged to get just one shave after the batteries have been drained. I charged it every night if possible.

Of the travel shavers I have tried (Sanyo, Remington and Wahl), I like the Sanyo best. The Remington and Wahl used throw-away batteries.

For someone with a very light beard, this might work well for as an only shaver.

very nice

Very nice not just for traveling
Small but as nice and strong as the big ones, and I use it everyday
